 "Using an outside caterer for my 50th Birthday party was an inspiration.

I turned up at the Cricket Club at 6:30 and the guy from Hammonds was already there laying out the food. It looked good and there was loads of it. Using Hammonds made it so easy. All I'd had to do was choose the menu and arrange the date. I didn't have puddings just a savoury menu: loads of sandwiches, snacks and a finger buffet.

I'd used Hammonds because the Cricket club recommneded them. They knew the form and made the arragements easy. 1 week later everyone said they'd really enjoyed my party and the food had been good.

There was no way we could have, oursleves catered for 100 people and the cleaning up would have taken forever.

.... and I'm not sure it would have been any cheaper.

It was the first time we (my wife and me) had ever considered caterers but it just worked and really helped make the event go so well. I'm telling everyone it's the way to do it. Thanks for everything"

Having searched the internet for caterers in the area for our wedding, we approached Hammonds and we are so glad we did. From start to finish the service was excellent. They were professional yet very friendly and accomodated all our wishes with enthusiasm and efficiency.

The food was superb and excellent value for money and there was enough so no one went hungry and there was even some buffet left over. The choice of menu was fabulous and they offered to create dishes which weren't on their menu. The service of the sit down meal was exemplary and atleast as good as you could expect in any 5* hotel.

Hammonds friendly, helpful aand efficient service ensured that our day was worry free and one that our guests and ourselves will remember for a very long time. We have already recommended Hammonds to friends aand we wont look anywhere else should we need catering for any large or small event in future - christening maybe?! Many thanks to you all."

"Hi, the catering was brilliant, all the food went down so well especially the jacket potato skins with red leicester in they were amazing. I was amazed at how much food there was for the price. The food was delivered very well and only a bit late due to the ridiculous road diversions that occurred on the day. The delivery guy was very apologetic even though it was not his fault and could not be helped. Alot of people asked who had done the catering so i handed out your business cards and explained what you provided and what you had on offer and i will be continuing to recommend you every time i am asked if i know a good catering company. She worked with my suggestions and came up with ideas. Sally remained cool even when shuffled and changed things around and even as the numbers fluctuated up and down! The hog roast, which we served to our guests was wolfed down and everyone complimented us on the spread! The staff were helpful, efficient and professional.
